Regional Resilience
As part of the work to enhance preparedness for civil contingencies post-9/11, it became clear that in addition to the national civil resilience programme, some work would need doing at regional level. Among other things, this improves planning for civil contingencies by ensuring that it takes account of specific regional and local circumstances.
