The big picture

The Big Picture

The Fire and Rescue Service is changing for the better – better for the communities it serves and better for those working in it.

The White Paper, Our Fire and Rescue Service, outlined the vision.

The subsequent Fire and Rescue Services Act represents a comprehensive reform of the statutory framework.

The Fire and Rescue National Framework is a strategic plan outlining how objectives can be delivered, and serves as a reminder of the challenges and opportunities ahead.
